Ajay Devgan and Sonali Bendre feature in Tera Mera Saath Rahen. Raj lives in Mumbai with 14-year old brother Rahul who suffers from Cerebral Palsy. Their neighbors Guptas, their daughter Suman and their son treat them as their extended family. Suman loves Raj but Raj avoids her. Life takes a turn for Raj when he meets Madhuri . With time both fall in love. Madhuri makes Raj aware that Rahul needs to be educated and made self-dependent and there are institutions for special children. Raj initially disapproves but has no choice. Despite Rahul’s refusal, Raj takes Rahul to the institute.

Lately during the shoot of Kismet Konnection, Vidya Balan realised her attraction for ‘devilry’. It appears that, the entire unit would go carousing after pack-up everyday while in Toronto. A friend of Vidya’s cousin who stays in the city recommended a place called ‘Devil’s Martini’ as a must-go.
From there started a real filmy tale that will stay with the unit members forever. She said that it is one such incident that will stay with her for long. It may sound silly but it did freak all of them. She had the exact address with her and the entire crew, including she couldn’t wait to reach there and have a ball. But some how, when they reached the area, there was just no sign of ‘Devil’s Martini’.”
She added that she even went ahead and asked the locals for direction who kept pointing a few blocks away but after hunting down the entire area, the nightclub was just nowhere in sight.
A couple of days later, they once again tried finding Devil’s Martini, but it could not be traced. The crew tried hunting it out on five different occasions during the entire shooting schedule, but it was nowhere to be found. In fact, the entire crew was so spooked by this, before eventually realizing that it is just not in their ‘kismat’! But like they say, when it rains, it pours. On-set dress designer Shabeena Khan decided to take on the task of throwing parties regularly back in her hotel room which she shared with Rahila Mirza, the director’s daughter and writer of Kismet Konnection. And while the unit partied away to glory, they soon got so famous that it ended up in Shabina’s room getting turn out!
Shabina’s parties were really extravagant and they had the time of their lives. Unfortunately, some not-so-lucky beings got wind of their fun and one day when they returned from the sets, the entire room was ransacked, including even the peanut butter sachets and loose pennies.

Chalo Ishq Ladaaye

In Chalo Ishq Ladaaye Sapna, a popular but lonely Bollywood actress lives a quite out-of-the-way life and has taken to consumption of alcohol in a big way. Thus under the influence she runs her vehicle into Pappu, a young man, who suffer from minor wounds. A passionate fan of Sapna promises to do anything for her. Sapna is unhappy with her boyfriend Rahul, who has been double-timing her. Grabbing the opportunity she tells Pappu to kill Rahul. Pappu consents to do so, provided she kills his domineering, aged grandmother, to which she agrees. After Pappu completes his dreadful task, he meets with Sapna, only to be told that she does not make out him, but when presented with proof, she surrenders and agrees to carry out her part of this trade. She, along with Kokibhai, arrives at the regal home of Pappu’s grandmother and set out the task of killing her without affecting any suspicion. What the unfortunate trio do not know is that ACP Kamat has already got indications linking Pappu to Rahul’s sudden death, and has been keeping a close eye on his position, all ready to arrest him, and get him to confess about Rahul’s murder as well as the attempt to kill his very own grandmother.

Sreesanth and Surveen Chawla more than good friends

Lately it is been known that Sreesanth and the television actress Surveen Chawla are more than the recognizable 'good friends'. Of late, the two were spotted together at the Bat and Ball Inn at Richmond Town in Bangalore. News of seeing them each other sparked off as they were seen together very frequently, suggesting that they are romantically involved.

Aditya Pancholi heart broken by Kangana Ranaut

Lately it is known that Aditya Pancholi has decided to call off his five-year-old relationship with actress Kangana Ranaut. He said that he’s got over Kangana. Now, all that he wanted was she returns the huge amount of money that she owes him. They have stopped seeing one another for a while now. Some time back she called Aditya to say that she wanted money, about Rs 1 crore, to buy a house. This was after she had complained against him to the police. He called up a banker-friend and stood as her guarantor and got her a loan of Rs 50 lakh.
Then, he gave her Rs 55 lakh cash from his pocket. Of this, she has returned Rs 25 lakh. She still owes him Rs 30 lakh. He has also spent Rs 10 lakh on her sister's plastic surgery, after the acid attack. But he says that he is not asking for that back. He paid all the bills. When Mukesh Bhatt asked back for her signing amount of Rs 50,000, he paid that for her too. He has written all that off. But he would like to have the money that he lent her for her house.
The bitterness has now made way for a calmer acceptance of the situation. He said that they were as good as husband and wife. He was actually building a house for both of them on Yari Road. They lived together for three years at a friends' place. He used to show her a lot of movies. He further continues that Kangana didn't have a penny when he met her. He saw her the first time on the road. She was on the verge of a nervous breakdown. It was June 27, 2004. She was wet, and sitting on a bike with a guy from the Asha Chandra Acting Institute. Aditya was supervising the construction of a building.

We fought and made up.
Then Kangana's sister had acid thrown on her. He bent backwards to get the guy nabbed. His wife warned him that he was dealing with an acid-throwing maniac who could harm our family. But, instead of being indebted she called him up one evening and began to abuse him and compared him with the guy who threw acid on her sister. He lost his cool and went to her house. He saw her trying to escape in an auto rickshaw. He intercepted her and tried to talk with her but she ran away. Obviously, Aditya's outburst is a result of the rumours of Kangana's involvement with Adhyayan Suman. He said that earlier she claimed that he was like a father. Now she claims Adhyayan is like her brother. What can be said about Kangana Ranaut? A few days before Adhyayan's premiere she called him up and whispered sweet-nothings about how she wanted to be proud of him, etc, etc.
At the premiere of his debut film last week she behaved like the bahu in Shekhar Suman's family. He very politely went up to Adhyayan and said, 'Welcome to the circus. I hope you're having a good time.' The minute she saw him she fled. The next morning he sent her an SMS saying he wanted his money back.
Now Aditya is back with his wife. He says that Zarina has been his support and strength. In spite of all the pain that he has caused her she says that she wants to be his wife for seven more lives. It seems that Shahid Kapoor is Mr Popularity and Vidya Balan is Ms likeability. Both of them tried to find this out on the sets of Kismet Konnection. Every day, the two actors would try to see who could gather a larger following, after shoot. The shooting was done in Canada for three months. After the shoot every day, Shahid and Vidya would intentionally head in different directions.
Fitness freak Shahid would hit the gym, while Vidya would set off on a long, wandering walk. The idea was to see who collected how many followers. Vidya won hands down every time.
The entire cast and crew chose to walk with her, rather than sweat it out with Shahid.

Hrithik all set for Kites

After learning perfect Urdu for his character as the Mughal Emperor Akbar in Jodhaa Akbar, Hrithik is now set to speak in a heavy American twang in Anurag Basu’s Kites. Hrithik is known for always doing something different in each of his films for which he takes prior training. Hrithik plays an interesting role opposite Barbara Mori and Kangana Ranaut for which he needs to speak in a heavy American accent.
Moreover, it’s a bilingual film for the foreign audience so Hrithik wanted to make sure that he adopted an authentic American accent to sound influential. After discussing the script, director Anurag Basu decided that Hrithik would need a tutor who will teach him how to speak in the correct accent. He immediately got a tutor on board to train Hrithik, before they could start shooting for the film.
Since the past few days, the tutor goes to Hrithik's home at Juhu every day and trains him for over an hour. It’s a tedious process, as Hrithik has to continuously repeat, recite and vocally rehearse long paragraphs continuously.
The Roshans have planned to make Kites an international project and are making sure that every aspect of the film is at par with international standards including the way the hero of the film speaks in English. Hrithik has still not met his Latin heroine Barbara Mori. He will be joining her next month in America where they will shoot for three months.

Shooting relocated from London to Delhi

The grass is greener on the other side. This maxim cannot be more true to life as producer Vashu Bhagnani’s unit experienced it firsthand.

Vashu’s film Do Not Disturb’s shooting has been relocated from London to Delhi, owing to its scenic requirement. Vashu said that they required large stretches of green land and an idyllic farmhouse to shoot the film.
After scouting around for a long time, they still could not find a place that was spacious enough in London to shoot. Both David Dhawan and he then decided to completely change the venue rather than compromise on the film. Vashu is currently in Johannesburg, wherein his son’s film Kal Kissne Dekha, which starts filming from today.
On deciding the change of location, art director Samir Chanda was summoned for an emergency meeting to erect sets on a vast expanse of land. Vashu informed that he contacted his friend in Delhi to lend his land, which is a vast expanse of greens. Samir has done a great job in a short span of time by building the most fabulous farmhouse there.
It’s exactly what David and he need. They are ready to start rolling from June 19. The number 19 is very lucky for him and it also happened to be his birth date. So has this huge geographical shift in the shooting of the film affected the schedule? "Not at all!" denies Vashu. They were in fact supposed to start shooting in London from the 21st. Now they will start two days earlier. Also, they were going to portray the London scenes as the ones shot in Delhi, but now there is no need for the pretence. The film Do Not Disturb stars Govinda, Lara Dutta, Sushmita Sen and Riteish Deshmukh.

Riya demands more for promotion of Hum Phirr Milien Na Milien

It seems that Riya Sen has been giving a tough time to Hum Phirr Milien Na Milien’s director Rakesh Gupta and producer Sunil Sodha. The promotion of the film is about to begin as it releases on July 25. But, Riya is nowhere to be found when the makers of the film are looking for her in order to promote the film. Riya, who has a cameo role in the film, is not cooperating with the makers of the film as she feels that they only want to cash in on her name and popularity to promote the film. She is demanding close to Rs 3 lakh just to promote the film, which is essentially the launch vehicle of Tabassum's granddaughter Khushi and newcomer Sarwar Ahuja.
She thinks that if the producer wants to use her name and face only for the film’s promotion then she should be paid extra for it. The producer obviously cannot pay Riya according to her demands as an extremely tight budget has been worked out for the film’s promotion, as it is a small-budget project. Sunil Sodha, CEO of Shimla Film Entertainment, confirmed ad said that they had paid Riya a hefty amount for the cameo role in the film. When he tried to contact her to inform her about the promotional activities, she asked them to get in touch with her secretary. When they spoke to the secretary, she quoted a hefty sum if they want Riya to be part of the film’s promotion.
They had already paid her for being part of the film. Now how can they pay her again just for being a part of the promotional activities?

Rehguzar movie is all about Rahul Khanna who leaves India to go to Dubai to earn money. He faces lot of problems before he gets a job in a good company. So impressed is the boss with his job that he asks for his hand in marriage for his only daughter, Neha, Rahul refuses as he is already in love with a girl, unaware that his girlfriend is none other than his boss’ daughter. Rahul is compelled to leave the job and in due course of time he sets up his own business, something he had always wanted to do. He grows from strength to strength in his venture and once the misunderstanding is cleared, Neha’s father agrees to the marriage.

Amisha gets extra kudos from Aditya Chopra

Although Rani Mukherji is the lead actress in Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic, it is Amisha Patel, who plays the second lead in the film. It is heard that Amisha Patel has taken away all the kudos from producer Aditya Chopra even before the release of the film.
She has managed to impress Adi so much that he has offered her two more films under the YRF banner. And no, this new development has not gone down too well with Adi's favourite heroine, Rani.
Apparently Amisha will star in the film to be directed by Shaad Ali, for which Ranbir Kapoor has already been signed on in the lead role. A trial of the film was held a couple of days ago and Aditya Chopra professed great satisfaction with Amisha's performance - although Amisha does not play the lead role. Rani Mukherji plays the lead role of the film.
Aditya was so impressed by Amisha's performance that he complimented her heartily and told her that she would also be part of two more Yash Raj films. Naturally, Amisha is elated. But Rani is not very happy about this. Of late, Rani has been behaving like the boss of the YRF Studios. Naturally she is upset and feeling a trifle insecure. Rani is also unhappy that in spite of her being the leading lady, there is more focus in the media on Amisha - set off by rumours of a link-up between director Kunal Kohli and Amisha.

A film on Guru Dutt

Ad filmmaker Shivindra Singh Dungarpur, who is best known for the Titan advertisements with Aamir Khan, is all set to make a film on Guru Dutt. Dungarpur has approached Aamir for the title role but Aamir being his usual self has asked them to come back with a complete script. The film’s script, which is written by Anuraag Kashyap, is based on the life and experiences of Guru Dutt.
Shivindra is a big fan of Guru Dutt and has already registered the title of his film as Guru Dutt. Currently, he is busy doing research on the late filmmaker. Dungarpur is making the film along with UTV Motion Pictures. They met Aamir Khan for the title role but Aamir in his prototypical style asked them to get back only when the entire script was ready. Aamir loved the idea of a film on Guru Dutt but will say a final ‘Yes’ only after taking a look at the script. However, everything is kept under wraps for now.
When contacted, Dungarpur confirmed the news but refused to give any details on the film. He said that it is true that he makes a film on Guru Dutt but it is very early to disclose anything. He is working on the film with Anuraag Kashyap and Karan Bali who are both helping him with the research. But, nothing is finalized as yet. When asked about Aamir being a part of the film, Dungarpur denied having approached anybody and said that casting would begin only after the script was ready.

Kambakkht Ishq of Sajid Nadiadwala will star Sylvester Stallone

Sounds to be perhaps a biggest casting revolution in Bollywood!!! It is heard that Sajid Nadiadwala for his film Kambakkht Ishq starring our own action king Akshay Kumar and the sexy Kareena Kapoor have signed Rambo and Rocky legend Sylvester Stallone.
For the first time in Indian cinema, a Bollywood film will be shot almost entirely inside Hollywood’s grand Universal Studios. Akshay plays a Hollywood stuntman and Stallone plays himself. Sajid got Susan Paley Abranson and Justine Hempe, the casting directors of Entourage, the hit US reality show, to get him Hollywood stars for Kambakkth Ishq.
Sly, who is impressed with Sajid’s earlier films, signed the contract after going through the usual formalities.
Sajid confirmed the news that he has signed Sylvester Stallone. Since Kambakkth Ishq is based in Hollywood, it made sense to cast mainstream American stars in it. This film is one of his most ambitious ventures and he didn’t want to leave any stone unturned. The filmmaker who has given back-to-back mega hits, the latest being Heyy Babyy, starts pre-production work on the 90 crore film next week. Prashant Shah, the line producer of the film in LA said that Deepa Mehta, Meera Nair and Gurinder Chadha, all Indians of international origin, have made a splash in Hollywood. But this is the first time a mainstream Indian producer is making such an international film. They are looking at other Hollywood names to join the cast.
For debutant director Sabir Khan, this is a dream come true. It seems to be an exciting merger of Hollywood and Indian cinema. He couldn’t ask for more. Kambakkht Ishq will truly be India’s first international film. Sajid’s production house rolls next with an animated version of the Salman Khan hit Judwaa. Followed by a film with Siddharth Anand that reportedly will star Saif Ali Khan and Ranbir Kapoor and a film starring Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Riteish Deshmukh and three most top actors titled Houseful.

Fear Factor Khatron Ke Khiladi

Akshay Kumar hosted reality game show’s shooting, the desi version of Fear Factor-Khatron Ke Khiladi, has been concluded. And if sources are to be believed, Nethra Raghuraman has emerged as the winner. Nethra has, apparently, beaten 13 contestants including Pooja Bedi, Yana Gupta, Sonali Kulkarni, Dipannita Sharma, Payal Rohatgi, Anjana Sukhani.
One of the Fear Factor participants Anjana Sukhani, who’s currently shooting for Golmaal Returns in Bangkok, was contacted to confirm the story. She said that whoever has won the Fear Factor, rightly deserved it. She has have watched her emerge from her shell to overcome her fears and make her way to the top. And they all are happy for her. Speaking on the experience of participating in India’s first reality show, featuring only women in audacious and unimaginable situations, Anjana said that she certainly emerged much stronger and far more confident than before. They all bonded well as a family and the best part is they have come back with 12 best friends.

Bachchan all set to save all his cars

As we all know nonstop rains and water logging that happens in Mumbai every year doesn’t spare anybody. And one of the worst hit localities is Juhu, which is a low-lying area. Though residents are doing their best to take control of the situation before they face problems in case of heavy shower, Amitabh Bachchan, whose bungalow Jalsa and office Janak are also at Juhu, is determined to take all safety measures this monsoon. He soon will be shifting all his cars including Lexus, BMW, Bentley, and Mercedes to hotel J W Marriott’s car parking area till the monsoons get over this year. The actor clearly doesn’t want to take chances after all his luxury cars were damaged during the 26 July’s deluges in 2005. As the situation didn’t get any better after that, the actor has decided to take this defensive step. A source close to the Bachchans said that most of Amitabh Bachchan’s high-end cars have a Global Positioning System, which was severely damaged during the monsoons in the last two years. When he realised that his cars may get damaged again this year, he decided to take charge of the situation. Bachchan also had to take this step as the car park area in Jalsa is in the basement, which gets flooded easily. He is making sure that he doesn’t have to go through the trouble of maintaining his cars during and after the monsoons. He will be shifting all his cars to J W Marriott’s car parking area, as it is a safer option. Amitabh Bachchan confirmed and said that they are shifting their cars to the Marriott or any other higher level.
The security guards at Jalsa have already been informed about the cars being shifted to the Marriott over the next four or five days. Well, Bachchan had the resources to take the precautionary measures, but it is hoped that the BMC will get its act together so that Mumbaiites don’t have to go through the mess every monsoon.

Madhur hitting through the upper limit

Madhur Bhandarkar's budgets for films are hitting through the upper limit. While his Chandni Bar was made for Rs 1.5 crore, he spent close to Rs 4 crore for Traffic Signal. However Fashion, budgeted at Rs 20 crore, is Madhur's most glamorous and expensive film so far. Madhur said that Fashion is a big financial leap. Because of the kind of opulence the film requires, they needed a big star. Priyanka Chopra is a glamorous star and Fashion couldn't have been made without her. And now he is looking forward to shoot the climax with her in Paris.
There is some change of plans regarding the climax of Fashion. Earlier, the director had planned to shoot the Paris Fashion Week live in July, but now he'll be recreating the Fashion Week in Paris during the event. Madhur informed that they were working on a deal with the French Government. They will show Priyanka walking the ramp but they won't shoot the Fashion Week. A set in Paris needs to be put up for about five days. They want to capture Priyanka framed against the Eiffel Tower and also show her walking the ramp in Paris as a super-model. They will also have some footage from the real Fashion Week.
Madhur's next project Jail, a hard-hitting film on a criminal who escapes from prison, was supposed to be shot in a real jail. However, it will now be filmed on a set because of the practical problems associated with the film's shoot. Madhur has cast Neil Nitin Mukesh in the film. When he saw Neil in Johnny Gaddar, he knew that he was perfect. He doesn't think a prison story like Jail has been done so far in Hindi films. He always wanted to go into genres that were new for him and for the audience. Jail will be a two-hour-long thriller produced jointly by Madhur Bhandarkar and Percept Pictures.
Apart from being kicked about all his forthcoming films, Madhur is on cloud nine about winning his third National Award for Traffic Signal. In fact Madhur was caught in the traffic in the pouring rains when he heard of him winning the National Award. Since the National Awards are running a year late, he wasn't even aware that Traffic Signal was up for consideration. He was stuck in the torrential rains when a news channel from Delhi called to inform him. He thought it was a joke.
But later, when he received congratulatory calls he knew that he had really won… On hindsight, Traffic Signal was a very difficult movie to make. There were 60 characters and half of them were non-actors, straight from the streets. And they did no workshops. Though Madhur has won National Awards for both Chandni Bar and Page 3, this is his first National award as a director. And it is also for the first time that two films, Traffic Signal and Corporate, by the same director were competing with each other.

Kismat Konnection of Aziz Mirza

Aziz Mirza of Chalte Chalte was questioned whether what kept him away after Chalte Chalte. He said that he lost his wife a few days after the release of Chalte Chalte. It was very difficult for him to cope with that. They had been together since their school days. He guesses that was the reason why he is romantic and it shows in his films. Slowly, his kids started coaxing him to make a film, but he wasn't sure about that for a long time. Speaking about Kismat Konnection he said that he had begun considering making a film on death and love after going through the pain of losing his wife. But around that time, his daughter Raila came up with an idea, which he loved. After that whoever he discussed the idea with, loved it. He also spoke about Shahid that Shahid is a very good actor. If your actor is good, the effort rubs off on you as a director. In many areas, he has surpassed his expectations. In fact, both Shahid and Vidya have done more justice to their characters than the way he had conceived it. These kids have put in extra effort, so he pushed them even more. He enjoys working with actors who want to excel. He said that one just couldn’t push some actors because you know they have limitations.
About Shahid and Vidya’s buzz he said that he is not someone who can think of all those commercial aspects. You can't think of all that when you make a film. At least he doenn't think about all that. Even when he wanted to cast Shah Rukh, people told hem 'look at his hair, why do you want to cast him?' But he was convinced that he is a good actor. Similarly, when he signed Shahid, neither Vivah nor Jab We Met had released, but he knew instinctively that Shahid is a good actor. Besides, he suited the role.
Shahid is a great dancer and Vidya is a very hardworking actress. They both have done a good job in the video. Also, he is all right with dance numbers as long as they are not vulgar. A good dance song is something everybody loves today. In any case, he leaves all the promotion work up to the kids — Raila, Shahid and Vidya, and Ramesh Taurani, who is the producer of the film. He says that he had kept Lucky Charm as the working title, but it was Sanjay Chhel’s idea to call it Kismat Konnection.

Ranjeev Khandelwal next to be seen in Peter Gaya Kaam Se

Right away after the significant acclamation of Aamir, Rajeev Khandelwal is keen to push the envelope. In his next film tentatively titled Peter Gaya Kaam Se, Rajiv plays a happy-go-lucky taxi bike rider based in Goa. UTV Spotboy’s COO Vikas Behl, who also supervised Aamir, is spirited about the new project. Although they did expected Aamir to appeal to a certain section of the audience, they didn’t imagine that the film would be well received by everyone. This time again, Rajeev and UTV Spotboy are determined to make a film that pushes the envelope. Their next project Peter Gaya Kaam Se will show Rajeev in a lighter stratum. However, Peter is not an easy character to depict. In fact it’s a tougher role than what Rajeev played in Aamir.
The film will go on the floors after monsoons, as that’s when Goa looks its best and the film’s canvas will capture the bright green natural surroundings. For his role, Rajeev is all set to learn to ride the two-wheelers that run in Goa. He said that he’d be learning to ride the taxi bike. Since they are shooting the film entirely in Goa he will have to learn how to ride it so that it looks authentic.

He must better be good at winding his way through those steep roads. However, for him, the most interesting aspect about Peter Gaya Kaam Se right after Aamir is that he goes from being a Muslim to a Christian. An India-based British filmmaker John Owen will direct the film. Vikas Behl said that John has been doing excellent work for music channels. He instinctively knew that he was the right person for this project, just as they knew Rajkumar Gupta was the right person to direct Aamir.
Currently, the hunt is on for Rajeev’s leading lady in Peter Gaya Kaam Se. In all probability it will be a new face.

70s superstar Rajesh Khanna

Rajesh Khanna, known as a phenomenon in Bollywood, is still a talking point among many. Rumours say that when the talented actress Deepti Naval narrowed down on subjects to make a film, she chose a story similar to the life of the ‘70s superstar. Talk is that she wanted Khanna to play the lead in her project. A trade source confirmed that Deepti even had a preliminary meeting with Rajesh Khanna, at his office on Linking Road, Khar. But Khanna nixed the idea of having a film made about his meteoric rise to superstardom, and then his fall from grace.
Khanna’s close associates, producer Johny Bakshi of Phir Teri Kahani Yaad Aayi and Vinay Sinha of Andaz Apna Apna, often spend time with the lead actor of Anand and Aradhana; they said that Rajesh Khanna’s life continues to fascinate the public. Bakshi said that when Kaka, Vinay and he get together, they often end up talking of his untroubled days. In his opinion, Bollywood hasn’t seen that kind of madness ever. True actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan are currently Bollywood’s biggest stars. But Kaka generated the kind of mass madness that is hard to describe or forget.
Bakshi, who had his office at Mehboob Studio in Mumbai for over two decades said that every restaurant on Hill Road, where Mehboob Studio is situated did roaring business when Rajesh Khanna was shooting at the studio in the ‘70s. The traffic would come to a standstill when word about Kaka being in the surrounding area got around. There are many who feel that yesteryear stars often continue to bask in their past glory. But how can one expect Rajesh Khanna to let go of his past when the filmmakers and actors of his time still continue to talk about Kaka’s superstardom with such fright. Naturally, it must be hard for Khanna to ever let go of those memories.
Rajesh Khanna’s life has inspired many filmmakers to try and attempt a film on it. But though the ex-superstar may talk of his past glory with friends, he is not keen to be part of any film that is based on him, because he is a very private man.
Khanna, a Congress loyalist, actively campaigns for the party during all elections and bye-elections. But as far as socializing is concerned, he just meets a few close friends in Mumbai and Delhi. He is also said to have signed half-a-dozen films.

Aditya Chopra leaving no stone unturned for Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi

Aditya Chopra is leaving no stone unturned to make his determined film starring Shahrukh Khan, Rab ne Bana Di Jodi a grand success. It is known that Aditya Chopra has recorded an 11-minute song in the film for one important sequence in the film that will have Sonu Nigam paying tribute to five olden days stars.
Reportedly Aditya Chopra has recorded an 11-minute song in the film, which showcases the style of five different generations in one single song. The song tracks the journey from 1950s to the 90's to the present era and will be picturised on Shahrukh Khan.
Aditya had reached a dead end with the song where he had to scrap it when he thought of Sonu. The specialty of the song is a tribute that SRK gives to stalwarts like Raj Kapoor, Dev Anand, Shammi Kapoor, Rajesh Khanna and Rishi Kapoor. But music composers Salim-Suleiman and Jaideep Saini were asked to compose the song which would have the first line of the most famous numbers with their romantic icons and these involves songs sung by singers ranging. Mukesh, Rafi, Kishore to Jolly Mukherjee. Ranging from the '50s to the '90s. The voice had to encompass the spirit of the old and the new equally, and Sonu was the only option.
Apparently Sonu who was traveling comprehensively gratified thrice to rehearse and work on the song and then finally sang in less than 45 minutes.

Jaya Bachchan praises Ramu for Sarkar Raj

It is heard that Jaya Bachchan liked Sarkar Raj so much that she told Ram Gopal Varma to complete the Sarkar trilogy. The 'push' holds a lot of weight as it comes from the most outspoken of the Bachchans, Jaya. Jaya, who was not very happy with Ramu's meddling with an unshakable standard Sholay, said so without crumbling words that re-making of the film was not a good idea. However, this time, Jaya absolutely loved Sarkar Raj and is kicked about the idea of a trilogy.
While Ramu is bold enough to return to the Sarkar saga despite the mixed response, the senior Bachchan has his own take on the matter. Amitabh Bachchan said that Ram Gopal Varma was asked about a sequel at the press conference in Bangkok. All he said was that he had not thought about it. But Jaya, in a rare reaction, has urged him that he must do a part three, as did a few others. However, he personally feels that he should not. It is best that people ask you 'why not' than 'why did you'!
Normally, Jaya's intuitions are said to be the trustworthiest in the Bachchan family. Although the Big B had gone against his wife's verdict on his career when he agreed to do television show Kaun Banega Crorepati. Sarkar Raj ends with the death of Abhishek's character. However, the third part is hyped to represent the senior Bachchan taking charge of the family empire once again, with his elder son's child planning the Nagre Empire.

Filmmaker Rajiv Rai back with Akshay Kumar

Rajiv Rai is back to producing films after a gap of nearly four years. He is back with a film starring Akshay Kumar in the lead role. Rai is very well known for making films like Tridev, Vishavatma, Mohra and Gupt. He had left the country a few years ago. But he is now returned with an action thriller.
Rai and Akshay had quite a few meetings and Akshay has given the green signal to Rai, who is now busy working on the final draft of the film. Akshay will be playing an action hero in the film. Rai had fled the country after he was attacked by the underworld in 1997.
He returned later, to make a few box office duds like Pyaar Ishq Aur Mohabbat and Asambhav.

Shilpa Shetty not able to attend her own birthday party

Shilpa Shetty thought that her perfect birthday bash, which she had planned for herself on Saturday night to usher in her birthday on June 8 in Dubai, was not a perfect one after all. Her bag went missing at Dubai’s international airport. Shilpa laughed and said that it could be the shortest flight from Mumbai to Pune, but she is sure to lose a bag!
When Shilpa landed at the airport with beau Raj Kundra, sister Shamita and parents she found that the bag, which carried her birthday party outfit, was untraceable by the authorities. Late in the afternoon, she had to go shopping for clothes in Dubai with her sister for the party in the night. And as if all was not over yet, Shilpa fell ill and was unable to attend her own party. She is on antibiotics for the past week. Ever since she got repeatedly wet in artificial rain for a song with Sunny Deol in The Man, She is suffering from cough and fever. It got worse on Saturday and they had to call for a doctor.
When asked how she felt about not being able to attend her own party. She said that she had no regrets because she got to spend the evening with her family.

Sonam Kapoor birthday talks

On her Birthday Sonam Kapoor was questioned and she happily answered to the questions. She was questioned that what were her plans for her birthday. She replied that last year on her birthday she was shooting for Saawariya and this time she is shooting for Dilli 6.
Since she seemed to do some of the most prestigious projects, she was also asked whether she had any regrets about missing out on Aditya Chopra’s Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. She answered that it was never in her pocket. Adi wanted to meet, so they met. He never mentioned Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. He was very clear that he wanted a new face for it. She has already played the simple Indian girl in Saawariya and Dilli 6 and besides that even her dates for Dilli 6 clashed with Adi’s project. Since she was not denying or accepting that she was been offered that role, everyone jumped to his or her own conclusions. She even got congratulatory messages when she was holidaying in New York. Regarding what kind of roles she was looking for she said that she was being extremely picky because she feels that she can afford to be so. She won’t play secondary roles for sure. She would like to take up something that she can relate to. Both her roles in Saawariya and Dilli 6 are different from each another. The only similarity is that both the directors Sanjay Bhansali and Rakeysh Mehra pampered her silly. Talking about Rakyesh Mehra she said that he is a lamb. He is incapable of screaming at anyone. They get along like house on fire. She instinctively understands how he wants her to do a shot. They don’t even have to say anything to each other. Abhishek, Rakeysh and Sonam had so much fun while shooting for Dilli 6. Speaking about her’s and Abhishek’s bonding she laughed and said that he is tall enough to suit her on screen. It was different during Saawariya as her relationship with Ranbir was casual as they were childhood friends. However, with Abhishek, she was a thorough professional. He made suggestions gently and if he wanted to make a point, he said it as a joke to avoid any offense. They are on the same wavelength and they both love junk food. He would keep digging into her cookies and then blame her for his weight gain. He has done 35 films, which he keeps reminding Sonam all the time. Besides that, they are from similar backgrounds, both of them have studied abroad and they both have been brought up in Juhu. He also keeps reminding her that he was born in a house opposite Sonam’s, which was neither Jalsa nor Prateeksha but an earlier place they lived in. And although he’s ten years older than Sonam, they get along very well.
She also said that she was bowled over by both Abhishek and Aishwarya. Aishwarya is very beautiful. No one has the right to be so lovely. And the other beauty that leaves her open-mouthed is Waheedaji. She is very much privileged to work with her in Dilli 6. She says that in fact working with the likes of Waheedaji, Om Puriji, Pavan Malhotraji, Rishi Kapoor uncle and Atul Kulkarniji is like going back to acting school all over again.

She also confirmed that she was never seeing Ranbir. She is happy for him. She feels that Deepika seems to be a really nice girl. Sonam and Ranbir have no offers together. But she is sure that they will work together again. They share a great chemistry on screen. She said that her ads will come by the end of this year because she feels that ‘Main lambi race ki ghodi hoon’. She is very quietly ambitious. But she will not endorse anything she doesn't believe in.

Shahid Kapoor fond of Roller Blading

Shahid Kapoor discovered his fondness in roller blade, while shooting for Kismet Konnection in Canada. In fact, he became so skilled at it that his director Aziz Mirza decided to incorporate a scene with Shahid skating on the blades over ice. Roller blading is similar to skating but on blades instead of wheels and is quite a popular sport in Canada.
The shooting schedule of Kismet Connection in Canada was very long and poor Shahid got bored sitting around for two months. It was then that he came across a bunch of youngsters doing roller-blading. He liked it so much that he started learning the sport in his free time and soon became in favor of it. Shahid mastered the sport so well that the director of Kismet Konnection included a scene with Shahid roller-blading in one of the songs. However, Shahid had a small problem, he could not stop the rollers. He learnt how to control the speed but did not know how to come to a halt.
So, a man was appointed to help Shahid whenever he had to come to a halt so that he didn’t ram into the lights and cameras on the sets. Shahid took it upon himself to learn how to stop on his own. After a number of falls, he finally mastered that art.

Ajay Devgan a devoted father

Ajay Devgan is known to be a devoted father. To make up for his long absence from home, he gave in to his daughter Nysa's demand to spend time with her. He cancelled all his engagements and stayed home for a month and devoted his time completely to Nysa.
He had no choice because it was his daughter Nysa's command. She's the only woman in his life who can make him dance around her little finger. Now that she was all of five, her demands are far more vocal.
It all began when Nysa missed Ajay's presence in the house for a long time. First, he was shooting non-stop for U Me Aur Hum. Soon after that he had to leave for Goa for filming Golmaal Returns. This long schedule of work didn't go down well with his daughter. So, it seems last month, Nysa forced Ajay to cancel all his engagements and spend more time with her.
Ask Ajay how he coped with being under house arrest for a month and he reacted that he actually enjoyed her harassing him. He absolutely loved the time he spent with her. Though this was the first time that Ajay spent a chunk of time with his daughter, he loved it so much that now he wants to make it a ritual. As Ajay has now resumed work and Kajol has signed Karan Johar's film, which has to be shot in the US, it is likely to leave Nysa alone.
Talk about Kajol getting back to work and Ajay becomes a personification of a liberal husband. He said that Kajol is an extremely talented actor and everyone looks forward to her films. And that's the reason it gives him great joy to see her working again. Besides that, she has every right to do what she desires.
Since Ajay is so obsessed by Kajol as an actress, is he planning to cast her in all his films?
According to Ajay, reports of him planning to cast Kareena in his next film are baseless. He said that he read that he had approached Kareena for his film that was news to him. He has not even finalized his script, so how can he ask her or any other actor to be part of his next film? For now he seems to be happy to have Kareena as her co-star in Golmaal Returns. In fact they will be leaving for Bangkok in a couple of days to shoot the last song. The sequel has turned out much bigger than the first part.

Boney Kapoor and Kamaal Khan smacked

Boney Kapoor and Kamaal Khan have been smacked a legal notice by producer Kishore Kumar Dhingra of Mega Sound Entertainments condemning Kamaal Khan of stealing his song and selling it to Boney Kapoor for his Salman-Ayesha starrer Wanted-Dead or Alive. Producer Kishore Kumar Dhingra informed that Kamaal could not come down to Mumbai as he had some visa issues. So he met him in London where he gave him Rs 50,000 as signing amount. Later, he paid him another Rs 50,000. Since Kamaal and Salman are very good friends, he even came up with the proposal of casting Salman in the film. To entice Salman they recorded the song ‘Ishk Vishk Pyaar Kar Le’, which had lyrics by Sameer and music by Sajid-Wajid. Salim-Sulieman was the music arrangers for this song. However, even after all this hard work, the film did not work out for some reason.
Kishore Kumar Dhingra and Kamaal Khan were still together and had opened an office in Juhu. After some time, when things did not work out between the two, they went their separate ways. It was only last week that he came to know that Kamaal has sold his song to Boney Kapoor. Kamaal had taken the master print from the studio without his knowledge. That’s when he sent a legal notice to both Kamaal and Boney. He will stall the release of the film if they don’t own up their deed. He will definitely sue Kamaal for cheating him of his song. He has given both of them seven days to get back to him. When contacted, Kamaal Khan hung up the phone saying that he doesn’t know about whom he was talking. However, Boney Kapoor was more forthcoming. He said that they definitely had a song in their film, which has already been shot. He has a contract with Kamaal for which he had already paid him. He doesn’t thinks that Kamaal is capable of cheating. As far as the notice goes, he is out of town, when he returns to Mumbai he will definitely check on it.

Lucky Boy Ranbir

It is heard that Ranbir Kapoor is red hot with his romantic-comedy Bachna Eh Haseeno that is supposedly releasing soon. Most of the other youngsters keep their real life romance in the hiding, just to make sure that they do not lose out on their female fans, but Ranbir does the opposite! He openly expresses his love for girl friend Deepika Padukone and yet manages to persuade his female fans with equal ease! It is surprising that what is it that makes Ranbir so irresistible for girls!!! His notorious eyes, cute face, fresh smile, boyish grin, a perfect lean body that was much on display in Saawariya, or his charm that exudes from his sheer simplicity!!! Minissha Lamba, his co-star from Bachna Eh Haseeno thinks that Ranbir is cute and exceptionally charming. He is a perfect gentleman... very well cultured. He makes one feel comfortable. Working with him was fantastic since they became friends while working. He is focused on his work all the time and yet balances out being fun and bubbly.
Considering Minissha's opinion on Ranbir, it can be now understood that what made him woo his ladylove Deepika Padukone, especially when she was seen dating Yuvraj Singh! Bachna Eh Haseeno is sure going to be a salivating watch with Ranbir romancing three Bollywood’s hot actresses, Deepika, Bipasha and Minissha.

Paan Gaadis are owned by Maharashtrians too

It is known that Santosh Pawar’s Aamhi Paachpute has been a target of bomb attacks. Even though in the play Aamhi Paachpute there is no communal undertones still the play was targeted twice. It seems yesterday just before the play Aamhi Paachpute was to be screened at Gadkari Rangayatan, which is in Thane, a crude bomb went off at the parking lot, injuring seven. Also, on Saturday when the same play was shown in Vashi, a person from the audience discovered that there was a bomb on a seat, which was defused later. But the playwright Santosh Pawar says that there are no such communal undertones in the play.
Aamhi Paachpute is literally a story about a family called Panchputes, which could also be interpreted as We, Five Sons. It is a story about five brothers heading to the swayamvar of a local chief’s daughter. At the ceremony they are told of a Gaadi (Kingdom) bequeathed by their forefathers. The two-hour play revolves around how the brothers search for the kingdom. At the end they realize that they had misinterpreted the word Gaadi. They discovered that Gaadi meant a Paan Gaadi that is a stall of Paan and not Kingdom. And so on. But there is a statement in the play that is, “Marathi manoos swata khaat naahi aani dusryaala hi Khau det naahi.” But hopefully it is taken in a wrong manner by the North Indians for taking over Mumbai.

Aurora theatre reapplies for license to show Dasavatharam

At the end of March 2008, curtains came down on Aurora, one of Mumbai’s most popular single screen theatres, much to the dismay of the South Indian population in the city. The theatre screened Tamil and Telugu films with regular Bollywood masala fare. And it was a popular haunt for ardent fans of Tamil and Hindi films. However, the recent news is that Aurora will be demolished only to come back in a multiplex avatar. And that’s not all. News is that Aurora may not be demolished until after the monsoons as it may be reopened once again to release Kamal Haasan’s Tamil film, Dasavatharam that is slated for a June 13 release all over India. A trade source from Chennai confirms that there is great hype and hoopla surrounding the release of Dasavatharam in which Kamal plays 10 different roles.

The film that is touted to cross the Rs 100 crore mark in the initial run itself has cost its producer Oscar Films approximately Rs 60 crore. And it is also one of the most controversial film because it reportedly had 20 litigation cases filed against it by different individuals and groups for various reasons-including one on actress Mallika Sherawat, who was dressed ‘inappropriately’ at the film’s music launch on April 25. Nambi Rajan, who has been in charge of Aurora for nearly two decades, is looking forward to Cash in on the curiosity surrounding the film. Rajan confirmed saying that he has reapplied for the license. He wants to release Dasavatharam in his theatre because after Rajnikant’s Sivaji-The Boss, this is one film that has generated tremendous excitement amongst the South Indian community in Mumbai and other parts of North India as well. Rajan says at least 50 subtitled prints of Dasavatharam will be released in Mumbai, several cities in Maharashtra and even in New Delhi. All the 20 court cases have been dismissed. He also confirms that at some later date Aurora might be converted into a multiplex but for the moment, he has requested the local municipal authorities to give him his license back because his theatre is the regular haunt for the South Indian community. And releasing a mega film like Dasavatharam will help generate funds for the theatre. And at the same time, it will also give Kamal Haasan fans in the city a reason to rejoice. Buzz also is that the Hindi version of the film may find its way to the theatres only two weeks after the Tamil and Telugu release on June 13.

Mohit Suri will not let Emraan Hashmi lock lips

While Woh Lamhe director Mohit Suri won’t let his cousin Emraan Hashmi lock lips with the leading lady in his films, he seems to have no qualms about his sister Smiley Suri kissing on-screen. Speaking about Emraan, Mohit said that it was a matter of family honour. Emraan didn’t get to kiss in Kalyug.
Neither will he get to kiss in the upcoming film Raaz. He is answerable to Emraan’s wife that is his bhabhi.
They surely were amused with Mohit’s explanation, as he seemed to have no problem when Kunal Khemu kissed his real sister Smiley in Kalyug. And what does Emraan have to say to Mohit considering that he has kissed all the actresses whom he has worked with? Mohit laughed and said he is very clear about his equation with Emraan. Even though he is family, they don’t take each other for granted. Emraan can take it (his stand) the way he likes!

Dino Morea in the lead role opposite Kareena Kapoor

There's definitely more to Dino Morea apart from the recent two flops Bhram and Anamika to his recognition. Now it is heard that he is all set to produce a film, in which he will cast himself in the lead role opposite Kareena Kapoor.
Though Kareena has agreed to do the film she has yet to sign the dotted lines. Dino confirmed the news but was not willing to reveal details. Still he said that his film is an adaptation of a very successful play from the UK. However, sweet-talk Dino a bit more and he spills the beans. He said that the play, directed by Pravesh was a hit in the UK. He believes in his talent hence he has signed him to direct his first feature film based on his own play. Pravesh has directed two plays Deranged Marriage and Something about Simi. So it seems that the film will be based on either of these.
Dino is cautious in his approach because of an unpleasant experience in the past. Last year, Dino had signed Shamim Desai, the director of Auroville 316, (starring Kelly Dorjee and Meghna Reddy), to direct his first feature film. However, his project did not take off as Desai left him high and dry.
How did he manage to convince Kareena to do the film? Dino said that he had bonded with her during the shoot of an Ad in Rajasthan, which Dino produced. Dino also said that Karan Johar had played the lead with Kareena in the ad. It was then that he made her promise that when he produces a film, she will have to be his co-star. Coincidently the director of his first film also zeroed in on Kareena.
He also told that the role she is doing in this movie is almost like the role that was etched for her. In fact the play is named after her character.
Dino is so gung-ho about his first home production that he turned down many films. Initially, he did films to earn money but now that his needs are met, he needs to build a body of work, and not just his body.
Currently, Dino has only one film on the floors, Acid Factory. In Acid Factory, producer Sanjay Gupta and director Suparn Varma have given him a completely new look.

Katrina all set to do something fresh

It seems that Nanhe Jaisalmer starer Katrina Kaif is all set to do something fresh and break from the song-and-dance routine films she has done so far. Her upcoming yet-untitled film, directed by Kabir Khan gives her just the opportunity she was looking for. With John Abraham and Neil Nitin Mukesh as her co-actors, Katrina will switch from masala films (as she puts it) to films that give out a social message.
Katrina said that this film will take her into a different world altogether. Masala films definitely made her popular and she will continue to count on them to maintain her career. But now she feels the desire to challenge herself as an actor.
Talking about her upcoming films, Katrina said that at the moment she is not signing any new project. She has Subhash Ghai's Yuvvraaj to complete. She also has Raj Santoshi's Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani with Ranbir Kapoor and of course, Kabir Khan's film.

Imran to feature in Delhi Belly

After Ranbir Kapoor and Chitrangada Singh walked out of Aamir Khan's Delhi Belly, it looks like only Lisa Ray is left from the original cast of the film. However, Aamir's nephew Imran Khan, who debuts with Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, seems to be the newest addition in the film. In fact, after Ranbir opted out of the film because of the slightly vulgar details of Aamir's sex comedy, the buzz is that he has decided to cast his nephew Imran Khan. Though Ranbir is said to have left the film due to unavailability of dates, Chitrangada had serious objections with the script. The film is an impertinent if not slightly risqué sex-comedy, a genre that is new to Hindi cinema. All the actors who are being auditioned for the ensemble cast are forbidden to divulge any details about the script through an indemnity contract.
However, it is known that Delhi Belly has a heavy dose of sexual innuendos because of which most of the actors are opting out. The story goes that the hero, who is from Delhi, has a girlfriend, Lisa Ray, but gets involved with a stunning socialite who was being played by Chitrangada. Now that Ranbir has refused to play the male lead, the question remains as to who will play the daring young Delhite?
Aamir’s first reservation about casting Imran was the film’s content. Nobody wanted his nephew to do a sex-comedy that has already garnered reviews of being a little too crude even for the Indian masses.
Initially Aamir was reluctant to cast Imran for the role because he didn’t want to be accused of promoting his own family. Now with Imran already having two films in his kitty - Kidnap and Soham Shah's Luck, even before Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na has hit the theatres, Aamir apparently has no qualms about casting him.

Salman Khan up to his adventures again

It is heard that once gain Salman Khan is up to his adventures. Some months back, he hired an auto rickshaw at Carter Road after midnight and drove it himself till his apartment while the driver sat in the passenger's seat. The rickshaw driver, Suresh Mandal said that it was past midnight and he was sleeping in his auto rickshaw in the Pali Hill area when a person wearing a cap woke him up. He said he wanted to go to Bandstand. To his surprise the passenger offered to drive the rickshaw himself. Mandal added that as he was starting his auto, that guy told him to sit at the back, as he wanted to drive instead of the driver. By then he realized it was Salman Khan who was dressed in a yellow vest and black shorts accompanied by Nanhe Jaisalmer's Katrina Kaif wearing a short red dress.
The driver obviously thought Salman was pulling his leg and ignoring his request, he started the auto. Mandal said that Salman insisted on driving it. When he told him to take the back seat, he pointed at a car behind his auto and said that if he wanted to sit behind, he would have done that in his own car.
Well, what can one do if it is Salman Khan persisting on a post-midnight ride that too with Kat? The driver added that though a little skeptical, he got out of his auto, allowing Salman to take his seat. He started the auto like a pro and asked Katrina to sit with him. As we began the ride, he cautioned him that he should be ready to jump out of the auto any minute if his driving went haywire. He assured him that in case of damage, he would bear all cost and he doesn’t needs to worry. The poor man actually sat with both his legs out, ready to jump out in case the auto over-turned.
But he drove well and throughout the journey via Carter Road, kept the auto on second gear. He seemed to be completely enjoying the rickshaw drive and Katrina too was having fun and was continuously giggling. He did not stop once during the journey and halted directly inside his society (Galaxy Apartment) compound. As the couple got down, Salman handed him a Rs 500 note. He was hesitant to take it but he said that he was giving that to him because he genuinely loved the entire experience.

Priyanka Chopra ready to forgive but no forget

The promotional events for the film Love Story 2050 are gathering momentum. After the recent music launch, the film's lead actor Harman Baweja will now be seen on two high-profile game shows in quick succession. Strangely, Harman will be accompanied by 'good friend' Priyanka Chopra in the grand finale of Shah Rukh Khan's Kya Aap Paanchvi Paas Se Tez Hai, but will be seen solo on Salman Khan's Dus Ka Dum.
Even though Priyanka and Salman Khan had patched up after not being on talking terms for almost a year, things still don't seem to be on the right track. Although Salman and Priyanka have been paired opposite each other in Mujhse Shaadi Karogi and Salaam-E-Ishq they both were on good terms when they started working with each other, things soured later. It seems that all started when Priyanka refused Salman's home production Main Aur Mrs Khanna. Salman's ego couldn't accept that Priyanka had turned him down for whatever reasons. To get even, he started misbehaving with her by passing loud comments against her on the sets of God Tussi Great Ho, the only film in which they are starring together. At any given opportunity he would pass snide comments at Priyanka. Even though Priyanka was taken aback by Salman's behaviour, she did her best to take it in her stride. It is to her credit that she never retaliated against Salman's behaviour in print or even in person. Priyanka's patience and silence paid off as Salman eventually backed off from his tongue-lashing. It is all thanks to Priyanka's dignified silence that things went back to being cordial between the two of them socially. Deep within, however, Priyanka did not forget the fact that Salman was nasty to her. Priyanka forgives but doesn't forget easily. She proved it so when she decided to stay away from Salman's game show. Even if it was for Harman's sake, she was not willing to compromise on her principles.

Harman had requested Priyanka to accompany him for Salman's game show, but she refused him outright. However, she happily agreed to be part of Shah Rukh's show with Harman. Considering the fact that her film with Salman, God Tussi Great Ho will release in July, she could have combined the promotions of both her films by appearing on Salman's show and killed two birds with one stone. However, Priyanka chose not to give in to external pressures this time and preferred to honour her conscience instead.

Ajay Devgan Juhu Ka Super Hero

Ajay Devgan who is born and brought up in the suburbs is a true Juhu boy. It seems that he is so attached to Juhu that he takes a keen interest in the issues concerning the area, regardless of his busy work schedules.
It is known that Ajay is currently shooting for Krishika Lulla and Kumar Mangat’s Toonpur Ka Super Hero, but he makes sure that he stands in complete support of the residents of Juhu, who are taking a step towards getting the BMC to take note of the situation and get their act right before the rains. The residents of 10th Road, Juhu, near Amitabh Bachchan’s bungalow have Ajay Devgan standing by them. There are various issues, which the residents are fighting against.
Ajay Devgan feels that the authorities should take necessary action so that the rains do not do much damage. There is usually a lot of damage caused in the Juhu Scheme area, as it is a low-lying area. As a responsible resident, he feels that it is his duty to support other residents in their effort towards getting the issue resolved. And that is just what he is doing.
Shirley Singh, the Secretary of the Juhu Scheme Resident’s Association, said that after the deluge in 2005, the Chitale committee came up with a solution of widening the Irla Nala system project by 30 meters. This hasn't happened yet for various reasons. This project is very important for the residents of Juhu, and they were not getting a response in any way from the concerned authorities. Stressing upon Ajay’s involvement, Shirley smiled and said that Mr Devgan is helping them to draw the attention of authorities and raise this issue to another level. His effort has helped them immensely.
