Mahima Chaudhary in Hope and Little Sugar!!!

Lately when Mahima Chaudhary was interviewed about her comeback films Hope and Little Sugar she said that it is quite uncomfortable when people called Hope and Little Sugar as her comeback films. Comeback is a scruffy word. She says that there are many actresses who marry and deliver babies and then feature in films but then that doesn’t mean that they have left the industry. So comeback is not an appropriate word to be used.

She also asked the interviewers that when Britney Spears delivered a baby and then released an album, did anybody call it her comeback album? Then why to single out Bollywood actresses was her question.

When she was asked whether she has signed for any other film, she said that not yet. But she is desperate to do some meaty role. She also spoke about her daughter that she would not like to leave her daughter alone at home and go for shootings. She says that her daughter Ariana is an angel in her life.

Big B starts Blogging!!!!

After Aamir Khan and Ajay Devgan, now it is the turn of Amitabh Bachchan to start blogging and interacting with his fans through the Internet. Big B has tied up with bigadda.com and will have his personal space there, where he will interact with his fans. He has requested his fans to talk to him, give him advice and suggestions, and said that he wants to show them the real him through the blog site.

When contacted Amitabh Bachchan said that yes his ID is bigb.bigadda.com. This gives him a platform to put across his views and thoughts and an opportunity to interact with his fans directly.
When asked him how actively he plans to blog, given his busy schedule, he said that he’d try to attend to it on a daily basis. He is new to this, so he is yet uncertain about the kind of time constraint it will involve. But he would like to make my blogs as personal as possible. Siddharth Roy Kapoor, COO of bigadda.com, said that this was a joint effort from Mr Bachchan and them to have a platform for him where he can express his views as well as interact with everyone on a one-to-one basis. Mr Bachchan wanted to have his own worldwide space, he wanted to share his thoughts and views through a blog site for a long time. Given the kind of interest and the initiative that he has taken, he is sure that he will be fairly active and will be interacting on a regular basis. He also guesses the best way for people to find out whether he is active or not is to write in and see how long it takes him to respond.

Mr. White Mr. Black

Gopi (Sunil Shetty)in Mr. White Mr. Black, a simpleton, arrives in Goa from Hoshiyarpur, to hand over a tiny piece of land to his childhood friend Kishen, which was his father’s last wish. Kishen, now a conman, swindles people with a little help from his accomplice, Babu, to earn enough money to educate his sibling Divya who’s studying in London. When Kishen gets to know that Gopi has reached Goa to meet him, he avoids him. Only because he doesn’t want to give up his flourishing business and travel to Hoshiyarpur just to take possession of a measly piece of land! However, Gopi is adamant to meet Kishen and is aided by Tanya, daughter of the owner of KG Resorts. Little do they realise that three girls are holed up at KG Resorts with stolen diamond worth crores. When Kishen, Babu and everyone else learn about this they all make a mad rush for KG Resorts. Gopi finds himself a part of the gang.

Aamir Khan’s Delhi Belly!!!

Delhi Belly, Aamir Khan’s latest production is almost having a stomach shaking experience. After having roped in Swedish director Robert Nylund, the actor has now developed some unalterable creative differences with him. So out goes Mr Nylund, and ad filmmaker Abhinay Deo who is the younger brother of popular Marathi actor Ajinkya Deo makes a quick entry.
Abhinay Deo, who has shot the recent cola commercial featuring Shah Rukh, Deepika and Ranbir, was the original choice as the director. But Abhinay was working on his first feature film script then and had turned down Aamir's offer. Explains Abhinay. Aamir had approached him almost eight months ago. But he was busy working on his owns script then along with the producers - Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani. Eventually, his film got delayed. Recently, Aamir called to check what he was up to, and that's how he grabbed the film. So what really went wrong between Aamir and Robert? Why Robert is no longer part of the film. He has just started casting for the film, which has been written by Los Angeles-based Akshat Verma. The buzz is that Akshat was keen on directing his script but Aamir was not very impressed with the idea. Abhinay, who has just directed a commercial for a cell phone company featuring eight actors, is optimistic about Aamir playing a pivotal character in the dark comedy. He said that there are 50-50 chances. But he’s yet to get a confirmation. Ask him if he has roped in Chitrangada Singh and he says: "Not yet. We have just been approaching actors."

Saat Rang Ke Sapne

Saat Rang Ke Sapne is a movie that depicts the story of a women who is forced into marriage with a mentally crazy man, Yashoda gives birth to a child, only to have her husband kill himself and the child, leaving her overwhelmed and alone. This leaves her brother, Bhanu angry and bitter at this loss, and swears to avenge this mortification. His revenge is satisfied every year when he asks his employee and close friend, Mahipal to run a bullock-cart race, and defeat his sister’s in-laws, and every year Mahipal wins. Bhanu, in his mid forties, is still not married, although he used to encourage a village belle, who has feelings for him. One day Bhanu and Mahipal give a ride in their bullock-cart to a couple, Baldev, and his sister Jalima, who are travelling and performing gypsies. During this ride, Bhanu hopelessly falls in love with Jalima, on one hand, and Mahipal wants to ditch the couple midway, as he does not like them.

Sanjay Dutt to go abroad for his upcoming Blue

The Supreme Court has given permission to actor Sanjay Dutt to go abroad to shoot for his film, Blue. Dutt is expected to get his passport, which was impounded by the designated anti-terrorism court of Mumbai, in the next two days and will be heading to the Bahamas later in May this year. Interestingly, the actor and his wife Manyata are planning a short trip to New York where he intends to meet his daughter (from first wife Richa Sharma) Trishala.

The story goes that Trishala is not too happy with her father's wedding with Manyata, and she has been consciously avoiding her father's calls and SMSes ever since he broke the news of his wedding. A doting father, Dutt wants to make peace with his daughter and wants to introduce her to his partner Manyata. However, Trishala who has completed a course in criminal justice and is trying her hand at modelling is not yet aware of her father's plans. “Sanjay wants to give Trishala a surprise. He truly believes that his daughter will no longer be upset with him after she meets him,” says our source.

Dutt's close friend Dharam Oberoi, who is also the CEO of Sanjay Dutt Productions, reveals: “Yes, Sanju is getting his passport back in a day or two. He will be making a trip to the Bahamas primarily to shoot his film Blue.”

Ask him if the actor is scheduled to visit his daughter and he says, “Nothing has been finalised yet.”

Shola Aur Shabnam - Govinda

Shola Aur Shabnam movie of Govinda, is about a spoiled and conceited brother, Bali, of notorious gangster, Kali Baba, enlists in the National Cadet Corps, and wants to have his way with his fellow-students and trainer. When he sees fellow student Divya Thapa for the first time, he is smitten by her, and wants to marry her. But Divya is in love with Karan, and both plan to marry each other. However, circumstances go against them and the two lovers elope with Kali Baba’s men, and Divya’s Police Commissioner dad, Yashpal Thapa, in hot pursuit.

Saif Ali Khan's kids, Sara and Ibrahim

Saif Ali Khan's kids, Sara and Ibrahim, are really mad at their papa. They can't believe that their papa visited a group of 300 children on Monday, and spent quality time singing and dancing and playing guitar for them, and didn't take them along. They feel they missed all the fun.

Says a source present at the venue, "Saif Ali Khan was in an exceptionally chirpy mood, when he spent the day with 300-odd underprivileged kids. He had especially taken time off to visit the children at our NGO under the Operation Shiksha campaign, which works towards the development and education of the underprivileged children."

Adds the source, "Saif was super cool as he gave to in to every demand made by the children. He played hop-scotch and passing the parcel with them - these are games he plays with Sara and Ibrahim at home. He said so too."

He also entertained the children by playing the guitar. They cheered him vociferously. He sang 'Pehli nazar mein' and when the kids clamoured for it, even danced to the songs from his film, Race." Saif himself became a kid during this interaction.

Later, however, he got serious and had a long chat with the kids. "Saif talked to the children about why and how education plays an important role in all our lives. He gave them his own example and details of how he himself completed his education before becoming an actor."

The little girls were bowled over by his charisma. "A small girl shyly went up to him and said that she would like to marry him when she grew up. To this, Saif replied that he would only marry her if she promised to study hard now," says our source.

Another kid asked him to describe himself as a child. To this, he replied that he was a naughty kid. He narrated incidents of how he used to trouble girls, pull their pigtails and run away."

At the end of the day, Saif made a promise to his own kids. That he will take them along the next time.

Katrina to perform with Zayed Khan!!!

Indian Premier League team of Vijay Mallya has not only kept the glam building block but is adding to with every passing day. Mallya, who signed up Nanhe Jaisalmer star Katrina Kaif for his team's promotional video, has now roped in the stunning actress to perform at the opening ceremony of IPL along with Zayed Khan.
Originally, Mallya only wanted to make an ad film to promote his team but Sanjay Gupta came up with the idea of a music video. Gupta himself will direct the video, which will feature Kat along with Mallya’s team members Rahul Dravid, Anil Kumble, Zaheer Khan and other cricketers.
It is heard that now, Katrina performing at the opening ceremony with Zayed, has upped the glam quotient again for Bangalore Royal Challengers.
It is known that Zayed and Katrina is an unusual combo. However, they make for an interesting pair, as they both are good dancers!!!

Akshay Kumar playing the role of Tatya Tope!!!

It was heard a couple of days ago that Sushmita Sen called up Akshay Kumar for asking Akshay Kumar if he would like to play the renowned hero of India's first Freedom Struggle - Tatya Tope in her upcoming project Rani Laxmi bai.
It seems that Sushmita is very keen that Akshay plays Tatya Tope. She thinks that he fits the bill. She called up Akshay, and they spoke at length regarding this project.
This film will be Sushmita's directorial debut and an episode film on the life of the queen, Rani Laxmi Bai. Apparently her scriptwriter-turned-director friend Mudassar Aziz is helping her with this script. One of the friends of Akshay said that Akshay is quite interested in the project and in a few days time, he will reply to Sushmita. It seems that Kumar has made a habit to play Tatya Tope.
Previously, Sushmita wanted this film to be directed by her Manav Menon who was her ex-boyfriend. But things didn't work out between the two and thereafter Sushmita and Manav separated their ways, and Sushmita who is quite eager about this film decided to go behind the camera herself.

Saif Ali Khan, post movie Tashan and Race.

It seems Saif Ali Khan is keen to maintain his new bound physique and look post Tashan and Race. His children, Ibrahim and Sara are also helping him to do so. They make sure that their dearest daddy stick to his strict diet and rigorous exercise.

Recently when Saif went on a holiday with Sara and Ibrahim to Bangkok, the little ones kept a strict check on the actor’s eating habits. Anyways Saif is very happy with the positive response of Race and is so maintaining his Race physique. Not only this but the moustache, which he had to keep for his Tashan, will also be there till Tashan movie releases. He doesn’t want to shave his handle bar moustache. If we remember, Saif did the same for Omkara. Also Aamir Khan had continued his looks in Mangal Pandey till the movie released.

Abhishek Bachchan’s fitter physique!!!

Abhishek Bachchan appears to have gone plenty of his weight before hitting the beaches of Miami. Abhishek, who is currently starring in Karan Johar's next production Dostana, seems and feels better than ever before.
It seems that he is gearing up for his first wedding anniversary on April 20, when wife Aishwarya Rai will join him in Miami. However, his unit members persist that it is director Tarun Mansukhani who is the reason behind Abhishek's fitter physique. Tarun has been coaxing him to lose weight.

He recently shot at Broward General Medical Center for a series that had him playing a joyful patient who is more worried about another attractive female patient in the same ward than him. Abhishek eagerly gratified the medical practitioners and hospital staff with pictures and autographs in between shots. It is said that he is very delightful and he keeps cracking jokes with the crew. He is maintaining his diet, as he wants to lose some more kilos. Priyanka Chopra and John Abraham are also shooting with AB Jr, and the three seem to be getting along rather well.

Amisha Patel not to feature in Billoo Barber!!

Amisha Patel has become almost famous for grabbing Shahukh Khan starrer Billoo Barber but all is not well her glory. It is heard that Amisha has dropped out of the project, which is known to be a remake of the Malayalam, film Katha Parayumbo. She is not too eager about playing the miniscule role of a barber's wife. Amisha thinks that she might get lost as the film basically concentrates on Shah Rukh and Irrfan Khan. Amisha is trying to make a serious attempt in stimulating her career and hence cannot keep playing these handy characters. She has previously worked with Priyadarshan in Bhool Bhulaiyaa, made clear the situation to the filmmaker and made a gracious exit from the project. Priyadarshan who wanted to start filming May was not too happy with this quit. It seems that Priyadarshan had a harsh time compelling the actresses to star in the film with most of them commonly terming the role as irrelevant.
