Ravina Tondon, Shahrukh Khan, Johny Lever, Karan Johar with Sahara Parivar and Times Foundation contributed for the orphans. Karan Johar and Shahrukh Khan donated Rs. 1 Lakhs each to the orphans. Sahara Parivar offered 2 Lakhs for them, while Johny Lever donated the amount of Rs. 1 lakhs for them.
Earlier Raveena Tondon used to visit these children in Vasai. When she got to know that the landlord of the chawl is evicting the children, she got into the act. She housed those children in her bungalow. Since December 2005 they were living in her bungalow under the supervision of Sister Martha. Now Raveena has moved ahead and has arranged space for them in Vasai, which will be the permanent house for these children. Actresses like Raveena and Sushmita Sen have proved that they are really very helpful and love to do such kind of social service. Raveena Todon's Dobara movie did not hit the box office but still some people like me appreciated that movie. Role which Raveena has done in Shool was the best.
This is really a good initiative taken by Raveena. But it is so bad that Shahrukh and Karan Johar contributed just Rs. 1 Lakhs only. They could have contributed more. It’s good that Johny Lever has contributed 5 Lakhs for the children.
Common man can never contribute so much huge amount. But celebrities who earn so much can surely contribute. But still…. At least they took the initiative for donating for the orphans!!!

Deepika Padukone increased her rates!!

It was heard previously that Deepika is supposed to star in an upcoming movie ROBOT opposite Rajnikanth. Robot’s producer Shankar who is from South India was going to approach Deepika for the lead role. Also he was going to ask Aishwarya to star in this film. Producer Shankar has just made a hit film with Rajnikanth, Sivaji- The Boss.
There were so many news from bollywood about Deepika regarding featuring in ROBOT.
For the same when she was approached, the charge she told, left the producer stunned as well as silent. Deepika was more on the gossips because of her list of boy friends. But now she is in the gossip because of her increased charges. The actress who received unbelievable fame and name from her debut film in Bollywood that is Om Shanti Om.
But I feel all her credit goes to Shahrukh Khan. If SRK had not starred in Om Shanti Om, this film would not have been that great!!!

No differences between Kangana and Priyanka!!!!

There was some news earlier that Priyanka and Kangana are having some sort of cold war. But Priyanka denies that. She says Kangana being is an outsider and Priyanka respect’s her.

She is asked to put down her weight to match her co-stars Kangana and Mugdha in this movie. And she has done lots of efforts and has managed to lose 4 kg of her weight!!!

Akshay Kumar’s huge Akhada for Kushti!

Akshay Kumar is sponsoring for taking care of the financial needs of five wrestlers in Mumbai. All the five wrestlers are associated with the Maharashtra Wrestling Association. There was an annual wrestling contest on Saturday evening at Andheri Sports Complex.
At that event show organizer, promoter and Congress party Spokesperson Sanjay Nirupam was present and he requested Akshay Kumar to do something for the organization. Akshay readily agreed the thought and said he would take care of any five wrestlers that Nirupam recommended, and who were deserving and needy.
These wrestlers come from Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Maharashtra etc. Nirupam says that it is their dream to bring a gold medal from the Olympics and wrestling is one of our biggest and safest bets.
Akshay Kumar is very much fond of wrestling. We have seen many films of Akshay Kumar in which he has done wrestling. That was Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi in which he featured opposite to Rekha and Raveena Tondon.This really suits him. Nowadays he is seen in comedy films. Previously he was seen in action films. And now once again he is featuring in an action movie. Also he demands above 20 crores for a film. He has increased his rates highly because of his good fame now.

Sana Saeed Kuch Kuch Hota Hai girl in a T.V Serial!

Anjali that is Sana Saeed who played Shahrukh and Rani’s daughter’s role in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai is seen on T.V nowadays. Can you guess in which serial she is? Baabul Ka Aangann Chootey Na!!! I was thinking that, I have seen this girl in some movie, but was not able to guess who she is?? Today while reading some news I got to know that she is nobody else than Anjali of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Sana Saeed was also seen in Har Dil Jo Pyaar Karega. Also in Bobby Deol’s Badal.
She was not seen on the screen for so many days!!! But this was a nice surprise. She was told not to disclose her identity to anyone.
Sana is 18 years old and currently is studying. She is an F.Y.B.Com student of Mumbai’s HR College. She is doing B.Com with Advertising. In addition she is doing a diploma in advertisement. She is more into advertisement then why did she select this Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na. She never wanted to play e lead role, because she will have to work for 25-26 days a month. But she wants to focus on her studies. In this serial when Sana plays the lead role after her elder sister’s marriage in the show.
She wants to make her career in advertising. But will she be able to do that simultaneously with acting??

Kyun, Ho Gaya Naa?

Recently Vivek Oberoi happened to attend a party hosted by Parvez Damania and his wife Roshni Damania. Some Goan singers were present there for entertainment purpose. Vivek Oberoi was having a perfect Parsi type dinner with the host when the Goan singers changed their song. They were singing some Goan songs, but when they saw Vivek they decided to play a different tune for the actor.

They started singing the romantic ‘Aao Naa’ song from Kyun Ho Gaya Naa addressing Vivek directly, while Vivek took the whole event quite sportingly and was listening to the song. While listening to the song Vivek was laughing and also blushing. Everybody was amused at this discomfiture of Vivek. It was very embarrassing for him when the singers ended their song with the punch line Kyun, Ho Gaya Naa?
All were enjoying this when Vivek Oberoi requested the singers to move on to some different songs. Then they switched to some of the golden old songs.

Isha Kopikar is supposed to perform an item number for Ganesh Acharya’s forthcoming film Money Hai to Honey Hai. This item number will be used as a promotional song of the film Money Hai To Honey Hai. Isha Kopikar was previously seen in many item numbers and movies.
Akshay Kumar was supposed to do this item number for Ganesh Acharya but he back out when he came to know that Acharya is trying to cash in on his name. Apart from that Akshay Kumar demanded for a big money from Ganesh Acharya whereas Acharya thought that Akshay would do it for free. Akshay Kumar has now increased his demand after his hit movies like Namastey London, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Heyy Babyy, and Welcome etc…. Also it is heard that from comedy movies now Akshay is moving towards action movies and has already started for that…
Shahrukh Khan is called generous for his attitude. Shahrukh Khan has performed an item number for Rakesh Roshan’s film Krrazy 4, but he has not charged for that. Not only this, but he has given a special appearance in a film Mr. And Mrs Khanna for which he has not charged a single penny.

Kareena and Vidya Face to Face!!!

There were some rumours that Kareena doubted on Shahid's closeness with Vidya Balan. After break off from a four year relationship with Shahid, Kareena faced Vidya firt time. Kareena has neither met nor spoken to Vidya Balan ever since she realized closeness between Shahid and Vidya Balan.
Both the actresses bumped into each other in Lilavati Hospital when they were visiting Bollywood designer and stylist Shabina Khan's ailing father. Both of them felt the awkwardnes and smiled each other. Also they hugged each other and talked for some span of time.

Dancing turns me on, says Esha Deol!!

Esha Deol is flying to United States for a dance academy there in February. She is going to stay there alone for around two months. up to now we have always seen Esha Deol accompanied by Hema Mallini, her mother or Ahana, her sister. But this time she is going all alone and is going to stay alone there.
She says that it took a long time for her to take the decision, but it was necessary for her to take this decision. Anyways she is very much interested in dance from her childhood. She is very much excited to go to U.S and so she has already completed her work. According to her how long can anybody go on with those same old jhatkas and matkas? She was seen in Koi Mere Dil Se Poochhe.

This year Halla Bol released which was a big flop. Yesterday that is on Friday, 18th January Bombay To Bangkok released. Nagesh Kukunoor's Bombay to Bangkok is a good movie with a different story in it. But still will not get more than two and half stars, I guess. Shreyas Talpade has acted very well, but the thing that was observed is jokes were kiddish and they were explained as if public sitting to watch this movie is dumb. Shreyas Talpade's Iqbal was a hit movie. In Om Shanti Om he did well as a co-actor. As an actor Shreyas Talpade is a good upcoming star. Lets see if really public appreciates his Bombay To Bangkok.
Now its time for Sunday movie to release. Ajay Devgan's Halla Bol was unsuccessful and now he is expecting at least Sunday movie should keep his name!!!!

Govinda Slaps someone on the sets of Money Hai Toh Honet Hai!

Bollywood's cool guy(supposed to be) slaps a person on the sets of Money Hai Toh Honey Hai in Mumbai. Nobody else but it is Govinda. While shooting for Money Hai Toh Honey Hai one guy was continuously trying to distract Govinda by intently looking at him and roaming on the sets.
First Govinda felt that he is a journalist and waiting for him. On further inquiries he came to know that he was just killing his tim and distracting him. He asked him to leave the place, but when the guy refused he slapped him. Govinda who is supposed to be one of the persons in bollywood who never loses his temper was annoyed by this distraction. He wondered how did that guy get an entry on th sets.
Govinda is a member of parliament and he cannot do that. He must be patient enough while behaving that way. Or else what is the difference between that man and Govinda???
Anyways Govinda's recent movie with Salman Khan that is Partner was good. Govinda is back with his jolly role now!! Now he is to be seen in Money Hai Toh Honey Hai!!!

Sunday Remake Telugu film ‘Anukokunda Oka Roju’

Sunday movie of Rohit Shetty is a remake of Telugu film "Anukokunda Oka Roju". Saathiya was also a remake. But Saathiya was better in Telugu only. R Madhavan featurised in that Saathiya. His acting is so good that in front of R Madhavan, Vivek Oberoi is nothing!!!What will be in Sunday movie"s case?? Saathiya did work because of the romantic gemre in it. Sunday is a thriller comedy movie, Ajay Devgan and Ayesha Takia are featuring with Arshad Warsi and Irfan Khan.
Not too many days to wait now, because Sunday is coming soon. Posters and trailers of Sunday are also available now. From that 2 min promo I found that movie good. It should work well coz Ajay Devgan"s Halla Bol with Vidya Balan went flop. Even though Ajay Devgan is having a bunch of movies in his hand, if all movies go flop then what is the use???

Salman Khan wax model unveiled

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan'a wax model was unveiled on Tuesday in Madame Tussaud wax work museum where Salman was present for the event. Now Salman Khan is in the line of Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai.
It is also said he is happy that at least his wax model will stay with his ex girl friend's wax model for rest of life. It is surprising that Salman Khan beat nine other stars including Madhuri Dixit and Abhishek Bachchan. It seems public poll was conducted in August. Over 10,000 votes were received by Salman Khan. I don't believe that Salman Khan is still so much appreciated by people. After knowing his bad conducts still people believe in him???
Anyways, My point was why do we create models??? A model is prepared for people who have done something best in the world. They became successful in their life and so, one should get support and motivation from them. People should remember them for their good things and should live their life keeping them as an idol. What have these people done in their life?? I believe they are successful in their life and have done many movies( its a question again that whether their movies were inspirational???). But still they are not idols at which people can look and get motivated.
These people have done many bad things in their life and they cannot be idols. But still money is money.'Paisa Bolta Hai' that is true!!!! But museum is a place where antique pieces are kept. These people are really antique. So may be they are kept for that antique things!!!

After Halla Bol lets see how Sunday and U, Me Aur Hum reflect??

Last weeks release Halla Bol was boring and not that up to mark. Now Ajay Devgan is directing a movie U, Me Aur Hum. This movie is Ajay Devgan's debut directional movie and it is somewhat like Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha of Ajay Devgan and Kajol. It should be good now for Ajay to make his good career in directing movies.
In Halla Bol also, Ajay Devgan's acting is good but the script of that story was not appreciated. Gheesa peeta logic of the story gave the movie bad reviews. Vidya Balan looks good in this movie, as usual. Good acting of a wife.
Lets see now how Sunday and U Me Aur Hum is. One is comedy and the other is romantic simultaneously. Also Ramayana and Ashoka are the two movies in which Ajay Devgan will be seen. Will these roles suit Ajay Devgan

John Abraham's Charity for Animals

Bollywood star Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal, John Abraham, not just star but something more than that. Heard of many actors who killed animals. Hunting was a crime still they hunt animals just for their hobby. Don't need to tell their names. This is one side of coin. But when it was heard about John Abraham it sounds amazing.
Recently John Abraham happened to attend an animal activists event. He volunteered to get donations for the NGO. He began to approach all his friends and Bollywood personalities that were present at that event for charity. Just can't imagine, But he managed to collect the charity of Rupees Five lakhs within a span of five minutes.
This proves that seriously behind some actors human resides. Some actors just live their life for fun, to eat, drink and be merry. Nothing else than that.
Such news or promotional things must be noticed by public. This behavior really makes us respect such actors from our heart.

Aishwarya or Deepika? Who will lead in ROBOT against Rajnikanth?

Deepika Padukone, Om Shanti Om girl currently is in air!!! So many rumors related to her. Gossip queen Deepika is now again in rumors for the film ROBOT. Aishwarya Rai was supposed to lead this role, as per previous talks. But now it seems Deepika is in that scenario.

Vidya Balan, a Tamil- Malayalam Bollywood actress is currently featuring in a Halla Bol movie with Ajay Devgan. For the shooting of song 'Piya Hazi' in the movie Halla Bol by Pakistani singer Amzad Farid Sabri, Vidya Balan visited the shrine of Hazi Ali for the first time. She is born and brought up in Bombay itself but still she had never been there. After visiting Hazi Ali, she said that it felt like an instant connection and very peaceful there.
To talk something about Vidya Balan, she belongs to a Hindu Brahmin family. She started her acting debut in the Bengali film Bhalo Theko. After that she was seen in Parineeta for which she got Filmfare Best Female Debut Award. After that she achieved success from the movie, Lage Raho Munna Bhai with Sanjay Dutt.
A decent girl who started her career with some advertisements and now is one of the most promising actresses of the bollywood industry. Though she was signed for some Malayalam films before these advertisements but was dropped from that for some reason.

Karan Johar is ready to feature and soon will be seen in an upcoming movie Fashion. I think thats the only thing left now for him to do. Even though he accompanied Shahrukh in Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, still!!!!!!!!!
I mean DDLJ, then Cofee with Karan and then himself featuring in a movie. Something wierd. Ye Baat kuch hazam nahi hui. But lets see if atleast this works with Karan.
On Radio city Fm they have started Chay with Charan instead of Cofee with Karan. Just to pull their legs!!! They use good sense of humor in that. More than Karan Johar. I like the way Karan Johar speaks. He uses different kind of accents while speaking which impress a lot. Good flow of talking he has and I feel he would have gone for anchoring reality shows rather than acting. Sonu Nigam as a singer is the best singer but his acting is flop. If we are used to looking a person in some different role and suddenly that changes it doesn't suits. But still after some days may be after some more events the person gets known for the thing and if he is well in that then he can maintain his reputation in that. Hope so the same happens with the Cofee boy Karan, because that was not in case of Sonu Nigam...

New year's Eve bad for Koena Mitra toooo!!!!

Koena Mitra model cum actress was also molested in the new year's evening. Incident happened in the Sahara Star hotel after she had performed there. After her performance she went inside a lounge to take rest. A guy appeared there and asked her for a photograph with him. Koena obliged him for the photograph.
This guy went ans stood besides her and started taking chance. He kept his hands on her thighs, Buttocks and private parts and started to fondle them. This whole thing was noticed by Tanu shree Dutta and she immediately cried for help. Both of them cried for the help but by the time body guards came that guy silently escaped from the place.Koena Mitra was very much upset with this event and started weeping there. Bipasha and Tanu shree tried to console her.
This incident proves that if this is the case with the superstars then what about a common girl. This means that now it is not safe for any woman.

20 crores for a film!!! Akshay Kumar is trying to become Shahrukh Khan???

Akshay Kumar gave maximum hits last year. None of his movie went flop and all were featuring him as comedy actor.
Last year that is the year 2007 was lucky for Akhi I guess. And Of course this year will also be lucky for him...After giving four hits one by one i.e. Namastey London, Heyy Babyy, Bhool Bhulaiyaa and Welcome now he has increased his price. Currently he has sign for a movie with Venus Records for 22 crore. That is the reason why he is the heaviest tax payer I feel.
Anyways !! Even though he is not counted in Khans neither in Bacchans but still Akshay Kumar is a perfectly different character which has come up with his own efforts rather than using others as ladders to move on top.
When Akshay Kumar came in film industry he was well known actor for action movies. Less of emotions and more of fighting was his chemistry that time. But after that he twisted himself as a humorous actor and finally more than acting his comedy is the best known. Welcome is best example to prove him.

One more controversy related to Kyunki Saans Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi

God knows Ye Saans-Bahu Ki Kahani kab Khatam hogi??? Stop these nonsense serials now and move on to some good promotional serials yaar. This Kunki Saans Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi serial is going on and on and is not ending only. Star plus people don't have anything to show at that specified time of Kyunki, I guess.
Now what was heard that Vaishnavs have raised voice against Wednesday's Kyunki because the dialogue "Bhad mein jaaye aap aur Bhad mein jaaye aapke Thakurji" has hurted Vaishnav community a lot. First of all these Gujrathi communities are more into watching this serial. This serial lost its track and sense much more earlier. At that time only if they would have stopped watching this serial then Star Plus people would have stopped it. Now there is some Maha Prabhuji(It seems he also watches this serial!)
Sevaks of this so called Maha Prabhuji have objected to that dialogs and are going to file a case against Ekta Kapoor.
What will they get by doing this?? This will satisfy their community ego but will it be worth for them to waste their time behind such non sense things. There are many things in the world which are very much important than this non sense...
Why don't they go and check all those things?? Will that case that these people are filing be solved or kept like this only?? Small things these people don't understand and go for long procedures. Just do one thing that is ask all your community people to just ban this serial or else for that ban this star plus channel. They will realize their loss and will put a full stop to the serial itself. Isn't that logical and better one. Of course you must be sure for that, how much your community believes in you and is trustworthy.

Please don't do the remake of Mughal-e-Azam now..................

Arrey Baba baksh do humein!!! I heard that Mallika Sherawat is featuring with Rahul Bose in Maan Gaye Mughal-E-Azam. Nobody can remake Mughal-e-Azam. And no one should try to do that. No one in bollywood is that capable of replacing Anarkali i.e Madhubala in Mughal-e-Azam.
We have seen some attempts of Shahrukh Khan in remake of Don and so now don't expect to take some more things like this. It is heard that Shahrukh Khan is doing an item number in Krazzy 4. Though the story line of this Maan Gaye Mughal-e-Azam will be different but it is so disgusting to seen Mallika in this role. She will have to wear full clothes in this film and that will be so disappointing for her:)
Why don't she try some other movies which allow her to show her body parts which she is much more fond of.
I recently heard a joke regarding Mallika Sherawat. A kid was saying to another kid that do you know,day by day cotton farmers are committing suicide?? Another kid replied that nodded his head saying yes. This kid continued saying reason behind their suicide is Mallika. Another kid asked why do so like that? This kid answered nowadays girls are more fond of Mallika and they want to be like and look like Mallika. So they avoid buying long clothes, which is results loss in farmers income. Of course it was a PJ:)
But still my point is public like me would not tolerate to watch movies which will insult our old and favorite actresses.

2008 has come with some good movies like Sunday, Bombay to Bangkok ..................

2008 has come with some good movies like Sunday, Bombay to Bangkok........ 2007 gave us different type of movies. Some movies were emotional plus love story like Vivah. Some movies were suspense plus thrill like Om Shanti Om, Bhool Bhulaiyaa. Some were comedy movies like Heyy Babyy, Namastey London, Welcome. Some were patriotic movies like Chak De India, Gandhi My Father. Some were of mixed genre like Dus Kahaniyaan. Some movies were promotional movies like Taare Zameen Par. Some contained adult romance like Cheeni Kum and Nishabd etc. etc.
Though some of the movies were remakes of some older movies that were not that good. After all 'Old is Gold'. Lets hope there are no more remakes this year. Shahrukh please make this resolution for the year 2008 :)
Anyways, now movie fans are really pleading that this year there must be less nonsense movies and more sensible movies with some new generated stories. Chak De India was really a good movie and had totally different and superb logic. Taare Zameen Par is also a good promotional movie.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa also had a decent and different story, hence it was good. Should I say something about Om Shanti Om, Remake of Don, Nishabd, Cheeni Kum, Metro etc movies. I don't know what to say about them. So let it be. But hope so Sunday, Bombay to Bangkok and many more new releasing movies are not that type of. Hope so no more disappointing movies are to be seen in the year 2008....
Heard of many movies to be released now, with some new actors and actresses featuring in that. Got some List of Bollywood movies released last year and also forthcoming movies. This list also contains some old movies of 70's which were all time hits.
Hope so our prayer becomes true and bollywood movie fans are satisfied by whatever they get to see this year....
